We provide transport advice and development planning assistance to both the public and private sector. Our services range from data collection and traffic modelling to detailed transport assessments and travel plans to scheme design and assessment from a transport perspective.
We are currently recruiting a Graduate Transport Planner to provide support to our senior consultants in delivering current and future projects. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree e.g. geography, maths or engineering and ideally a transport-related post-graduate qualification.
You will be IT literate with sound mathematical ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Importantly, you will be enthusiastic and looking for a long-term career in highways and transportation.
Job Description:
> Assist with data collection, to include parking surveys and trip counts; analyse and present the results
> Assess scheme layout and design and provide feedback accordingly
> Assist in preparation of transport assessments and travel plans in support of development proposals
> Prepare draft proposals for future work and tender documentation
> Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
