Google is firmly marking its place in the online recruitment space. Recently we wrote about Google for Jobs – an exciting product launched in the US which boasts machine learning capabilities that better tailor Google Search results for applicants. Now, Google Hire is integrating popular recruitment features into the hugely successful G-Suite of products such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive and more making this already powerful tool even more formidable.

This helpful YouTube overview video details the simple application features designed to make the lives of recruiting teams easier - https://youtu.be/6dPO3fUUG6k.

Among the features included in it are the ability to contact candidates directly and sync interview invites with both the Gmail accounts of those attending and those conducting the interview. Interview type (in person/video/telephone) can also be determined, meeting rooms can be booked and multiple members of staff can update their availability enabling more efficient organisation of teams. Syncing notes, invites and reminders across multiple calendars is perhaps one of the best features of Google Hire – and a flagship quality of G-Suite currently.

The feature will be added to the G-Suite dashboard as with the other features presently there and you are a US-based company with fewer than 1,000 employees you can request a demo.

LinkedIn has long had competitors snapping at its heels; Facebook and Google to name a few. The Google Hire applications could streamline numerous processes for recruiting teams and we can’t wait to see how it’s received when it goes live.
