Government To Launch Career Advice Bureau

The Adult Advice Career Service or AACS has been piloted in England to help give advice on employment related issues, such as child care, money, housing and training. This one stops shop will be able to focus on many problem areas at the same time rather than just one, as has been the case up to now.  For many job seekers, simply using a low cost recruitment agency is really helpful in finding a job, because of the attractiveness of the recruitment business model. However, in the current market and in some professions, it may not be enough to really help everyone.

The AACS is set to be launched in 2010 as a national service for those people who really need support. There are ten areas involved in the pilot scheme including This service is aimed at those who are at a disadvantage when it comes to employment. It will focus on helping the long termed unemployed, mothers, uneducated, unskilled or people who have faced situations that have held them back.  Giving this valuable service to people who really need to be helped will try and reintegrate them into society.
