Year End Summary: What’s Happened with RecruitmentRevolution.com?

It’s been a wonderful year at RecruitmentRevolution.com. We’ve been our busiest to date since we launched back in 2005 and are now proud veterans of online recruitment, having been the first UK online recruitment agency to launch 10 years ago. So, fast forwarding a decade – what happened with us in 2015?

RecruitmentRevolution.com Around the Web

We have a number of creative positions on our website. And as a result, we teamed up with cutting-edge Shoreditch-based hair salon owner ReeRee Rockette. We worked with ReeRee and her salon, Rockalily Cuts to write a piece on recruitment in the creative industries.

We have a number of positions on our site for London-based positions too. So we were delighted to team up with Working Girl London to write a piece on moving to London and the recruitment opportunities available for working women in the Capital. Read it here.

Thirdly, and perhaps our most successful piece (nearly 5,000 of you have read it) is a piece on women in the workplace and our advice on prospects for 2016 and beyond. Read it here.

Better Software, Front and Back

We’ve got new pages on our website where you can learn about our different recruitment specialities. These include, among others:

Small Business Recruitment
Sales Recruitment
eCommerce and Retail Recruitment
IT Recruitment
HR Recruitment
Executive Recruitment
Finance and Accountancy Recruitment

We’ve also completely re-designed the Client Dashboard, so if you have an existing vacancy with us, you’ll be able to see our new and improved functionality.

A Bigger Online Footprint

You may also notice we’re very active on social media! To this end, in 2015 our reach has grown to 7,761 all by organic means, meaning if you advertise with us, just on social media alone, your post will go out to an additional active audience of 2,310 compared to this time in 2014.

New Trends?

Our team have kept a close eye on trends throughout 2015 too. And in summary, these have been:

• The right to legally request flexible working after 26 weeks
• Focus on wellbeing by firms as lost dollars through sickness becomes a problem
• A big focus on mobile – and a requirement by Google for all sites to be mobile-friendly on April 21st
• A focus on millenials and managing the successful recruitment of this era of talent

Positions Filled

We’ve also kept up performance when it comes to conversions too – and are delighted to report a record number of successful hires in 2015.

Thank you to all our followers in 2015 – and we look forward to interacting with you all again in 2016 and beyond!
