Where you fit in: As Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will focus on the management of invoices and outstanding payments, ensuring that financial data is captured in a timely and accurate manner and that outstanding debts are recovered promptly, effectively, and professionally. Your role sits at the heart of our finance team ensuring the financial stability and profitability of the company by effectively managing and collecting outstanding receivables, minimising bad debts, and maintaining strong customer relationships while playing a critical part in the cash flow management and overall financial health of the organisation. What a Typical Day Might Look Like: + Working on aged debt and implementing strategies to manage overdue payments + Maintaining regular contact with customers, sending reminder letters, and proactively contacting to follow up on outstanding balances + Managing the accounts inbox, dealing with all queries, and capturing all relevant information in financial systems + Responding to the clients and internal stakeholders resolving their queries promptly + Taking ownership of end-to-end account receivable activities including receiving customer payments for all entities + Preparing consolidated monthly billing spreadsheet to support specific accounts + Investigating disputes/customer issues and processing credit notes as required + Managing and resolving issues that are identified during contact with the customers to ensure prompt collection of outstanding amounts + Assessing delinquent customer accounts and working on bad debts to be written off + Building and maintaining strong working relationships with all internal and external parties + Actively looking to build your own career through delivery of self and assisted professional development initiatives.
