The Area Sales Manager Opportunity:

Due to the company’s continued growth an opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join our expanding team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will promote and sell our Ceramic products, and ensure effective aftersales assistance for customers within your assigned region.

The role is full-time working Monday to Friday around London, covering the following postcodes – BR, CR, E, EC, EN, HA, IG, KT, N, NW, RM, SE, SM, SW, TW, UB, W, WC, DA.

Although this role is generally remote and solo based, we have a strong cross-departmental and supportive team environment. You will be expected to engage face to face with stakeholders on a regular basis with a minimum of 80% of your time being spent visiting clients within your region. Therefore, it is essential that you live within a commutable distance of the designated area.

Please note you may be required to work no more than one month internationally as dictated by the business.

About you:

+ Experience working with contractors, architects and being on site
+ Experience in the tile / ceramic industry would be a bonus
+ A full driving licence is essential
+ Proven field sales experience
+ Account Management experience
+ Adaptable to the organisations and priorities according to needs of the business
+ Ability to build and maintain positive relations with all stakeholders both internally and externally
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with commercial managements and other collaborative departments (Customer Service, Accounts, Marketing, Technical)
+ Relevant market knowledge including experience in the industry
+ Good level of analysis while preparing data and sales forecasts
+ Excellent self-management skills and the ability to work within a remote team
