The Business Development Manager / Head of Sales Role:
Our business needs an energetic, performance-driven BDM who wants to progress quickly to be our Head of Sales. You must have sector knowledge and experience.
Our current offering – the leading cloud-based Order-to-Cash Accounts Receivable suite – enables Enterprise customers to automate processes, reduce costs and improve cash collection efficiencies – meaning cash flow increases. The company’s SaaS platform enables customers to get paid faster by automating manual and time-consuming tasks.
We are embarking on an exciting growth journey following the launch of our latest comprehensive platform and are looking for this hire to engage with CFOs, Treasurers, Credit Controllers and senior stakeholders in our target market. We are looking for a seasoned business development professional with a track record of selling finance and accounting solutions to enterprise organisations.
About the Business Development Manager / Head of Sales Role:
The role is focused on building relationships with target organisations and progressing conversations with decision makers to the point of contract negotiation. The postholder will work with leads generated by the Marketing team and qualified by colleagues, as well as generating their own prospects aiming to achieve and exceed a target that supports our ambitious growth.
Whilst our marketing team and Business Development Execs work hard to deliver quality leads, we will expect you to be dynamic and proactive, taking responsibility for the generation of new business by sourcing leads yourself. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned self-starter to be successful in a fast-growing market place at a time.
+ Over 5 years in B2B sales or business development selling to finance teams or selling enterprise grade SAAS solutions; plus
+ Over 5 years of working closely with senior finance team decision makers or with financial services products and financing products
+ A proven track record of selling by consultative approach B2B
+ A proven track record of multi-year SAAS or software deals with average deals values in excess of £50,000 per client/per deal
+ Strong selling, negotiation and closing skills
+ Candidates should have sold to Finance functions, specifically Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and/or Collections. Any experience selling any one of the following is a must:
++ Financial software
++ Billing or transaction services (including EDI)
++ Document Management
The rewards and benefits package include:
+ £50,000 – £65,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
+ Commission scheme with year one OTE of £90,000 and year two OTE of £110,000.
