About Us:

We are a market leader in self-service, information and patient call software in Healthcare settings, and are looking for a confident communicator with dedication and enthusiasm, who is able to sell to Practice Managers, Primary Care Networks and Clinical Commissioning Groups. This is not a highly technical sale however the successful candidate will have a good understanding of technology and SaaS sales.

The Business Development Manager Role:

You will be responsible for generating new business from a dedicated territory, as well as retention and growth of existing named accounts across Primary Care.

Key Duties:

+ Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth
+ Develop account plans for named accounts
+ Develop new business opportunities by researching and identifying new prospects
+ Build a sales pipeline in order to meet sales targets
+ Demonstrate the company’s SaaS products online, and in-person
+ Work closely with the implementation team to ensure a smooth on-boarding of new accounts
+ Track product usage and account health to mitigate churn risks
+ Provide regular product feedback to the product managers for continuous improvement of our solutions
+ Handle multiple customer sales concurrently
+ Complete tenders as required
+ Provide forecasts for annual, quarterly and monthly revenue
+ Collaborate with other team members to support sales strategies, including sharing best practice with sales counterparts in Australia
+ Represent the company at trade shows across the UK (some may require overnight stays for 1-2 nights)

About You:

+ Experience selling into healthcare organisations (Primary Care would be ideal, but not essential)
+ A good understanding of the NHS and procurement
+ A flair for selling and building relationships with buyers
+ Ability to handle multiple concurrent sales and projects – must have excellent time management skills and remain calm under pressure
+ Persuasive selling skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with passion
+ Confident in challenging customers when needed
+ Ability to work independently without supervision
+ Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
+ Confident and lively presenter both online and in-person
+ Happy to make the majority of sales on the phone
+ Excellent negotiation and listening skills
+ Hardworking, persistent and dependable
+ Positive and enthusiastic personality
+ Problem solving attitude
+ Customer-centric individual
+ A good networker with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
+ An ability to explain new software to non-technical users
+ Proficient in using office applications / Google Workspace

Desired but not essential:

+ Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM
+ An existing network of healthcare contacts to generate new business opportunities (ideally with CCGs, ICSs, PCNs, Federations or GPs)
+ Proficient with Excel
