£25,000 - £30,000 Depending on Experience + performance related annual bonus (up to one month’s salary)

We are looking for a people person who is a natural relationship builder to join our sales team. Your time will be split between approximately 75% account management and 25% new business development.

This role would suit someone who enjoys managing and developing long-lasting client relationships.

Client Relationship Executive
Remote working available or can be based in our office in Cirencester, GL7
£25,000 – £30,000 Depending on Experience + performance related annual bonus (up to one month’s salary)

Holidays: 25 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays + scheme to buy a further 5 days
Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

The Client Relationship Executive Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic salesperson, who enjoys interaction with customers, to join our dedicated sales team.

Your objectives are:

+ Build quality relationships with key contacts
+ Ensure that we obtain and maintain preferred supplier status to all its targeted customers
+ Help achieve the budgeted sales volume/value with the customer base
+ Ensure that customers are fully aware of the company’s multi-product sales offering
+ Understand the full product needs of the customer base and be able to turn this into sales opportunities
+ Be instrumental in identifying and developing best practice through different ways of working

Key Duties:

+ Maintain regular telephone contact with the customer base
+ Ensuring all call-offs are processed in a timely and accurate manner
+ Resolve any issues or queries raised by the customer and escalate their resolution where necessary
+ Seek opportunities to clear excess and old stock
+ Monitor stock movements and trends to aid in regular forecasts in conjunction with the Operations team
+ Work with the Credit Control team to ensure all payments are received to agreed terms
+ Maintain Price and Contract data as appropriate and process corrective action reports that may arise
+ Inform customers how to access support services related to the Engineered Wood product range
+ Continually monitor competitor activity to ensure our service offering is best in class within our chosen sectors/product areas

There will be some international travel required between the UK and Ireland.

About You:

+ Demonstrable sales experience
+ Ability to challenge norms to drive improvements
+ Demonstrable attention to detail as a ‘completer finisher’
+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbally
+ Organised and tenacious with good attention to detail.
+ Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.
+ Microsoft Excel/Word to a good intermediate level.
