The Data Analyst Role:

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will act as a central supplier for changes that will have an impact on the process, flow and system within the Operation and delivering those enhancements. You will work with other department stakeholders to stay in tune with what the rest of the business is doing and manage the delivery of change within the most efficient path. You will be passionate about improving efficiencies and in turn our customer experience.

The Role Duties:

+ Responsible for Operations based performance reporting & audit
+ Work with both Supply Chain & Operations team(s) in UK & Europe to ensure consistency in data entry & management information
+ Work closely with the Commercial Finance department to align Board stated planning & cost centre analysis
+ Responsible for producing Board-level insight and statistics as required
+ Responsible for requirements gathering, solution identification and testing of as-built solution
+ Provide support where required for cross-functional projects planned or underway
+ Provide cross-functional data & reporting expertise across the business for analysis and action planning to feed into prioritisation
+ Act as central point of Operations input & comms
+ Continuously look for ways to improve current systems

About You:

+ Degree (or equivalent) accreditation in Mathematics based subject
+ Ability to analyse, review and build new business processes, mapping and documenting them accordingly
+ Previous experience in Operations/Logistics role, ideally within an Fulfilment centre environment
+ Experience in multiple reporting suites and tools (e.g. SQL Developer, SSMS, Excel, G-Suite)
+ Experience of Agile methodologies and how the business effectively interacts with I.T. in Project Delivery
+ Document Management skills (change control, reference materials, training & testing docs etc)
+ Strong attention to detail with a strive for excellence in delivery
+ Demonstrate experience of working in a fast past operational environment as part of a professional team
+ Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities (from multiple directions) and understand ‘what good looks like’.
+ Demonstrate a solution focused approach to analysing challenges and issues as they arise – think “Out the Box” if a tangible benefit can be gained.
+ Focus all decisions on how it affects/benefits the customer
+ Confident decision maker with the ability to nail actions and get stuff done
+ Commercially driven with an appetite to drive business improvement
+ Ability to take initiative where you observe a business opportunity and ‘take others with you’.
+ Ability to be flexible with work duties and hours as required by the team and business, and able to attend other sites for which travel may be required
