Signature is the world’s largest fixed base operation (FBO) network for Business & General Aviation (B&GA) travelers and provides premium, full-service flight support and non-fuel services, including technical support and aircraft management and charter, for passengers, crew and aircraft in the B&GA space. Signature serves customers at more than 400 FBO locations and covers key markets in North America, Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. EPIC provides fuel and fuel related services at FBOs across North America including fuel purchasing cards and transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities will include:
+ Management and development of the Swiss Accounts Assistant.
+ Review of all Swiss processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
+ Oversee the documentation of key processes to support business continuity
+ Drive the accuracy and timeliness of reporting month end Swiss numbers including meaningful analytical review commentary.
+ Ensure the accuracy of BPC Platform for reporting monthly financials to Group
+ Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliation process.
+ Identifying, recording and supporting resolution of risks and opportunities within the Swiss control environment.
+ Control over Sales tax treatment on Swiss sales invoices, including record keeping and responding to customer Sales Tax queries.
+ Oversight of half year and full year reporting to Group.
+ Produce the annual financial statements, and support the annual audit process
+ Supporting the FP&A team in generating budgets and forecasts
+ Month end cash flow analysis.
+ Oversight and support of cash recovery through Sales Ledger ageing reviews.
+ Support the EMEA HQ management team with Group Reporting activities and ad hoc projects.
+ Management and review of Swiss control environment.
+ Management of key external stakeholders including internal and external auditors
+ Support the Shared Services Centre in Orlando to co-ordinate cash collections process.
+ Ad hoc finance projects as required by the Financial Controller or Finance Director.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
+ Qualified accountant, with IFRS experience and a minimum of 4 years PQE.
+ A self-starter who demonstrates ownership of the tasks and objectives of the department
+ Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interpret data to give the overall picture whilst checking for accuracy
+ Proven experience in managing a team and ensuring a high level of engagement
+ Proven leadership and delegation skills with ability to prioritise, manage expectations and meet tight deadlines
+ Confident with Sage. SAP skills are desirable
+ Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with staff at all levels
+ Ability to clearly explain financial information to both financial and non-financial populations
+ Excellent team player and fast learner, able to apply skill set to new scenarios.
+ A clear risk focus with previous experience of implementing and reviewing internal controls
+ Fluent English speaker and advanced Excel skills
