You’ll be based out of our Bournemouth office, but working with a team all across the UK.

Role Info:

Head of People / HR (but we don’t like the HR term)
Responsible for strategy, recruitment and people development
Based out of our Bournemouth offices, but with opportunities to work from home
£50,000 – £75,000

Product / Service: Award-Winning franchise and travel homeworking company
Growth: 4000% Since inception. 375% in the last 5 years. Record sales in January 2022 and all without a head of marketing!

About You:

You should have a very modern and fresh approach to people with proven experience creating results.. But, you also need to be excellent at helping developing strategies for recruitment, onboarding, development and retention.

You’ll need to be a gifted communicator who knows how to find the right people to help the business achieve it’s goals. But equally important is how we develop training, culture and structure in the business to ensure our great team achieve amazing results.

You’ll of course need to know all of the legal requirements of HR, the key things we’d expect of a head of this department, understand performance management techniques and the best ways to recruit, but you’ll also need to be a brilliant people person.

Of course a passion for travel helps!

A year from now you will have had a great year if you smash it out of the park within these three areas:

+ Recruited 30-40 amazing A-players across multiple areas of the business
+ Developed a strategy with department heads to help team members achieve their best
+ Implemented the very best onboarding process for new hires

The Role:

As people are the most important part of our business, you’ll be creating strategy which impacts our entire future.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring we pick the right people to join us and then ensuring we keep them. Culture, training, developing and growth will be key.

We are a high performance company which expects a lot of results, but we’re also a people first business where relationships are key. Your role is to ensure we have the right people and the right environment to ensure this works in a very professional way.

You’ll be starting with a clean sheet which is an exciting opportunity.

+ Experience of recruiting A-players and understanding how to identify these people
+ Experience working as a head of HR / people role of other fast growth companies
+ In-depth knowledge of HR policies and best practise
+ Ability to deal with a multi-cultural, distributed workforce

+ Knowledge of how top performing companies get the best out of people
+ Ability to build HR function from the ground-up
+ Development of learning and development programmes
+ Development of retention and reward initiatives
