The HGV Driver / Forecourt Services Engineer Opportunity:
Due to an ongoing expansion, our Northern Forecourt & Drainage Division has an opportunity for an experienced HGV Engineer to join the team, carrying out both planned and reactive jobs across the North of England and Wales.
This job is ideally suited to somebody holding a clean HGV Driving Licence who has gained at least 2 years recent working experience within the residential or commercial drainage sector.
The role will involve working away/overnight stays to a maximum of 3 nights per week, although this is controlled by job location on a monthly basis and these nights are usually consecutive when required.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Working on Petrol Forecourts carrying out planned maintenance, including Interceptor uplifts, gully and aco drain cleans, Jet Wash/Car Wash cleaning, unblocking of drains and ensuring sites are left in clean and tidy state
+ Completing Job Packs for each site, detailing completed works and any issues that will require further attention on site, along with photographic evidence of work in progress
+ Uplifting Sewage from Septic Tanks/Cesspits as required
+ Providing accurate Waste Transfer Notes to ensure tipping compliance for all waste
+ Downloading on Tachograph Card on a weekly basis to ensure that all HGV Drivers are adhering to WTD regulations
+ Completing a Vehicle Defect Report daily and ensuring that all kit and vehicles are in suitable working order and reporting any faults immediately to Line Management
+ Providing support with other projects as the business requires
About You:
+ UKPIA Card Holder (Not essential as a course can be booked if required)
+ 2+ years working experience in Drainage
+ Clean HGV Driving Licence
+ Availability to work away from home 1-3 days per week
+ Availability to work 6am – 5pm Monday to Friday (a degree of flexibility will be required to meet business needs)
