The HR Training & Development Assessor Opportunity:
We are searching for people who are passionate about developing and supporting our apprentices to fulfil their potential.
If you have a vested interest in teaching others, this is the perfect role as you will be going into a variety of workplaces and guiding HR apprentices though their Level 3 or Level 5 HR apprenticeships.
Calling upon your own industry knowledge and skills, you will be able to support developing professionals in achieving their own human resources qualification and L3/L5 apprenticeships.
The role is predominantly home based, but there will be a need to travel from time to time, to carry out some face to face 1-2-1 visits in their apprentices workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage a caseload of approx. 35 apprentices through their apprenticeship journey and enable them to achieve all aspects of their apprenticeship including end point assessment.
+ Advise, teach, coach and support apprentices through a series of classroom workshops, webinars and 1-2-1 support visits that may be carried out remotely or face to face in the apprentice’s workplace.
+ You will also build a working relationship with the apprentice’s employer to provide guidance and advice with both on and off the job training for their apprentices that can be delivered to directly support them in their role.
+ Help your apprentices to achieve functional skills qualifications in maths and English to apprentices who don’t have a GCSE grade 4/C in maths and English or equivalent.
+ As the apprenticeship sector changes constantly, you must adapt well to changes and be open to innovative ways of working, with the apprentices in mind at all times..
About you:
+ Have a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C for Maths and English or equivalent.
+ Have worked in HR at a strategic/ management level as a minimum as having industry experience is key.
+ Hold a CIPD qualification at L5 level or above (or equivalent).
+ If you have a teaching and / or assessing qualification, great but if you don’t hold a relevant teaching qualification we will sponsor you through the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
+ Experience, knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding practices and legislation.
+ Experience and confidence in virtual/online/classroom delivery.
