Home based with London NW10 HQ &Client Meetings
£40,000 Base Salary + Bonus scheme

We are Europe’s longest established and largest collector and remanufacturer of inkjet cartridges. Since we were established in 1992, we have been at the forefront of the European cartridge remanufacturing industry and are recognised as one the foremost technical innovators in the industry.
We specialise in the supply of high quality private-label cartridges for leading UK and European high street, mail order and web-based channels as well as major office supplies’ resellers. The independent trade magazine, ‘The Recycler’, named us as the number one recycler of inkjet cartridges in the world!
In 2017 the Company diversified into production of 3D printers and pens. Our 3D pen is sold under the Polaroid brand and licence. The role will be responsible for both inkjet and 3D pen sales.
The factory, collections processing centre, distribution centre and head office are based in Park Royal, North West London. The group’s sales currently exceed £8 million and we employ around 70 staff with operations covering the UK and Europe.
The Business Development Manager role:
We are looking for a New Business Development Manager to join our team and take responsibility for sourcing, generating and building new business for the organisation. The main purpose of this role is to identify new sales leads and source new opportunities in potential clients.
This is an exciting client facing role with travel to potential customers, trade shows and exhibitions.
+ Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets
+ Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
+ Qualifying new business opportunities
+ Preparing client pitches / presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
+ Tracking leads
+ Negotiating business terms with new by phone, email and in-person meetings
+ Achieving new business sales targets
+ Working with senior team members to manage risks
+ Attending networking opportunities including exhibitions, conferences and industry events in the UK and Europe
+ Networking with related businesses and fostering B2B relationships
Key Skills Required:
+ You will have 2+ years experience in a Business Development role
+ Ideally have experience in business development with office products, stationary or tech
+ A successful track record working with new clients building rapport with great communication
+ Creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box
+ A proactive approach in pursuing new opportunities
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Drive and confidence
+ Commercial awareness
+ Presentation skills
+ Initiative and a proactive attitude to driving new business
+ Strong negotiation skills
+ The ability to speak publicly and interact and work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals and organisations, at all levels of business
+ Driving licence holder
