We have an opportunity for a Inventory Controller / Shift Desk Coordinator at Cadishead.

You will coordinate all materials inbound and outbound from gate entrance through to exit including weighbridge duties, driver inductions and all inbound and outbound safety documents to ensure safe procedures are followed from the front line.

SAP knowledge is a must for Product Inventory control, managing the stock counts, amendments, write offs/ons and reporting into management and accounts.

You will be the link between all departments to help with the safe and efficient operational success of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ First Line security – Letting all vehicles onto site via the front gate using the intercom system.
+ First line safety checks for ullage, correct UNs, correct quantities etc for all materials coming in and out before handing to Shift Manager to carry out secondary checks.
+ Entering first line information for all products, using the relative densities of products and taking temperatures of products to formulate the correct amount of material required
+ Becoming emergency roll call trained to carry out roll calls on the driver books, visitor books and site books.
+ Becoming dangerous Goods Trained
+ Opening, closing tanks on the SCADA system, loading up production orders and doing general tasks on the SCADA system to cover the Shift Manager.
+ Covering shift managers on the radio, if someone is asking for a tank to be opened or raising an incident the Shift Desk Controller would action this.
+ Taking calls in the absence of the Shift Manager to book vehicles into site using the ACCESS system.
+ Booking all production orders, sales orders and incoming vehicles onto SAP
+ HMRC Document processing
+ Managing trailers by answering any queries and making sure underweight and correct documents provided.
+ Weekly audits of ATD and ATL forms to make sure all operators are filling out the safety forms correctly.
+ Sevesso report management
+ PI Control – Monthly for bulk tanks and production. Making sure all stock booked in and out of the site is correct and any stock write offs/ons are completed ASAP. Investigating any discrepancies and conducting physical counts on the yard.
+ BOMs – Routing set ups / queries / deletions

About You:

+ SAP knowledge is a must.
+ Exceptional organisational skills
+ Numerically competent
+ Strong IT skills – mainly Excel, Outlook, Word, Access
+ Dangerous Good Note Qualification and Emergency Roll Call Training would be a bonus.
