We specialise in supplying and maintaining machinery for four key markets; Agriculture, Groundcare, Construction and Arboriculture.

About the Role:

Over the past decade, we have been fortunate to win a number of large contracts where we supply, deliver and install our specialist Groundcare machinery to sites across the UK.

These contracts have specific implementation dates, and the orders are often large and complex – both in terms of the variety of machinery but also the customers' individual requirements for each site.

We therefore need someone with a ‘logistical’ skillset who can take the order from our sales team and make sure that it tracks smoothly through the system – chasing our suppliers, ensuring it arrives with us in a timely manner, that it makes its way through our workshops (most machines need to be assembled), handling all the associated paperwork (of which there is lots) and then organising transport so it can be delivered to the awaiting contract.

Any potential delays and pinch points need to be spotted and solutions found – only involving the sales team where absolutely essential.

Essentially, we need this support team to understand the importance of the deadlines and work together to ensure they are met…giving confidence to the Sales team and the customer that everything is in safe hands.

Duties include:

+ Professional phone manner that will allow you to deal with demanding customers
+ Proficient in Word and particularly at home with Excel spreadsheets
+ Superb administration skills with a real eye for detail
+ A cheerful personality and a resilience to cope when the pressure is on
+ You have already worked in a similar industry as ours would be ideal, but not essential
