We are a dynamic and growing independent hire business within the TV & film sector based in West London. We supply behind-camera equipment to film & TV shoots across London and we are looking for a new Loading Bay Supervisor to join our busy warehouse team. Candidates will be a confident van driver with a UK driving licence.

Reporting to: Loading Bay Manager & Transport Manager
Full-time, permanent, shift work

The Role:

You will be responsible for checking jobs in and out of the warehouse, assisting with loading and generally following our processes and ensuring the smooth operation of the loading bay.

This is a diverse and fast-paced role which thrives on excellent communication, organisation, attention to detail and teamwork. We have a team of over 12 drivers and multiple couriers and collecting and returning equipment throughout the day.

We are a well-respected company known for supplying the best quality equipment and going above and beyond to help our customers have a successful shoot, so this role requires keen focus on quality control and service.

The role will operate on a shift pattern and the hours and days will vary depending on the workload so will require a flexible approach. Overtime and weekend work is often required and allocated by rota.

Occasionally you will be required to fill in for delivery drivers so you must have a full UK licence (with no more than 3 points) and be able to drive a 3.5t Luton van.

Key Duties:

+ Manage the loading team ensuring all work is carried out accurately and on time
+ Ensure safe working practices and procedures are followed
+ Maintain the highest standards of quality control
+ Work and communicate effectively with the booking team and Transport Manager
+ Work with the maintenance team to ensure all stock is kept in its best condition

Key Skills:

+ Positive proactive attitude and a drive to get the job done
+ Exceptional attention to detail
+ Good manual handling abilities are essential
+ Ability to work to deadlines
+ Strong team and leadership skills
+ Clear and professional communication skills
+ Intermediate computer skills
+ Excellent English
+ Experience using tools and workshop skills would be beneficial but not essential
+ Flexibility towards hours and shift work
+ Must be a confident van driver with a UK License
