Are you ready to further your marketing career? We are offering a CV enhancing 6 month contract with the pensions trade association established in 1923, whose mission is to help everyone achieve a better income in retirement.

You will deliver high-quality, engaging marketing and member communications for our channels to support our brand, member proposition and services. That includes promoting our thought leadership that shapes the future of pensions in the UK, making sure our members know the value and impact of our lobbying work and recruiting delegates for our industry’s biggest digital events.

£23,000 – £27,000 dependent on experience (Pro Rata)

About Us:

We work to get more people and money into retirement savings, to get more value out of those savings and to build the confidence and understanding of savers.

We represent:

+ Over 1,300 pension schemes with 20 million savers. These include defined benefit, defined contribution, master trusts and local government funds.

We bring together the industry and other parties to raise standards, share best practice and support our members. We work collaboratively with members, government, parliament, regulators and other stakeholders to help build sustainable policies and regulation which deliver a better income in retirement.

What the role entails:

+ Support the Marketing Manager in planning and delivering engaging campaigns to support the organisation's communications objectives.
+ Deliver marketing for our industry-leading digital and face-to-face events.
+ Increase awareness of our policy and lobbying to promote the impact and value of our membership.
+ Plan and deliver our regular email and social media (Twitter & LinkedIn) communications schedule.
+ Support our business development team with marketing collateral to promote the value and benefits of commercial partnerships with us.
+ Work with colleagues in the Digital and Communications team to keep our marketing web copy and content fresh and up to date.
+ Brief the production of assets such as graphics, copy, video to support our campaigns.
+ Support progress tracking and analytics to evaluate our communications delivery and effectiveness.

You can:

+ Use marketing systems, CRM and social media platforms.
+ Use data to analyse and demonstrate communications and campaign performance.
+ Write excellent copy and adapt style and tone for audiences and channels
+ Work with creative agencies
+ Work in a fast-paced environment with changing focus and deadlines

You have:

+ Enthusiasm, ideas and energy
+ A marketing or digital marketing qualification or experience
+ Experience in helping develop strong and successful B2B content marketing campaigns.
+ Pride in producing clear and engaging written work, and an eye for detail
+ Excellent planning and organisation skills
+ Creativity and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent MS Office skills
+ The ability to build strong relationships across different teams.
