We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Operations team in Widnes for approximately 12 months with specific responsibility for supporting the Operations function.

The Operations Administrator Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Operations team in Widnes for approximately 12 months with specific responsibility for supporting the Operations function. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, you will work closely with local site transport and stock teams to deliver a range of general administration duties using ASW(AS400), Microsoft Office and hard copy files.

Key Responsibilities:

+ To complete all administrative duties within agreed time scales.
+ To produce and process dispatch paperwork, raise purchase orders and scan various documentation.
+ Liaise with 3rd Party logistics via email & phone

You will also be required to:

+ Prioritise your workload effectively.
+ Continuously review all activities adopting a “can do” and proactive approach.
+ Be compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work alone when required. It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused, flexible, numerate, possess excellent organisational skills along with strong IT skills. This role is for a highly motivated individual, ideally with experience of administrative tasks. Experience with transport planning would be advantageous. You will strive for accuracy of information and be capable of working on your own initiative in what will be a key role to the efficient operation of the site.
