The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Team Leader to join our South Kirkby team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will safely prepare, fill and warehouse hazardous chemicals whilst leading and supervising the team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide direction, focus and leadership of the production & warehouse team
+ To ensure that MHE is properly presented and operated
+ To ensure that the correct goods are produced, stored, PI counted and dispatched in good condition
+ To ensure the prompt, correct completion and presentation of documentation to site admin
+ Be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements
+ Through leadership, ensure safe working conditions at all times.

Key Tasks:

+ To work with hazardous liquid chemicals
+ To ensure material is produced and stored accurately and in line with EHS&Q procedures
+ To ensure the correct and safe receipt of bulk liquid tankers into bulk holding tanks including dilutions/decants and blending.
+ Cooperate on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation and the environment
+ To work with filling machines filling IBC’s, kegs and drums
+ To work within SAP on PI movements & documentation

We Are Looking For:

The successful candidate will have good leadership skills and excellent attention to detail. It is desirable that the successful candidate also holds FLT Counter Balance and/or Reach license. You will be required to complete product movements between tanks, so knowledge of valves, pumps and meters are essential. Plus have experience overseeing product transfer activities within SAP for a SAP controlled site. The successful candidate will be able to support the Operations Manager and wider site team, plus offer support where appropriate for audits, customer visits & periods of holiday and absence.
