Your next role:
As People Operations Manager, you will manage all People Operations, Payrolls and Benefit activities for our Operating Companies. You will have 3 direct reports.
We see this role not only as leading the team but happy to be hands on and lead by example with a hands-on can-do approach. This is a growing and ever evolving department so we are looking for someone who can get to the heart of the operations and solve problems by improving processes.
You will work with employees and managers across the entire employee lifecycle to ensure operational excellence. In this role you will collaborate with the wider People team on projects to develop and deliver our Employee Experience.
Key responsibilities:
+ Leading the development and implementation of strategies to create effective and efficient HR business processes
+ Managing the People Operations elements of contractor onboarding with IR35 compliance
+ Ensuring the People Operations team are equipped to act as the first point of contact within the People department, providing advice as needed
+ Leading the continued evolution and development of our HRIS system, partnering with the wider EX and Workday teams
+ Ensuring a seamless end-to-end People system business process delivery
+ Taking responsibility for data governance, accuracy and completeness across all systems
+ Regularly reviewing and troubleshooting processes
+ Proposing process improvements, expanding reporting capabilities and automating tasks
+ Support the creation and documentation of content related to processes and standard operating procedures
+ Leading the team, motivating and developing the direct reports of the role
About you:
+ Demonstrable experience working in People Operations with a clear understanding of People practices and legal requirements
+ Experience in high-growth environments
+ Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (Experience of Workday would be ideal!)
+ Demonstrated ability to research and analyse problems at a senior level, providing feedback, guidance, and direction.
+ Strong problem solving, reporting and analytical skills
+ Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Clear, strong verbal communication and consulting skills
+ Well-developed presentation skills able to communicate across all levels
+ Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality – ability to listen, analyse and inform appropriately
Even better (but not essential) if you have:
+ Experience working with Global teams within a wider company network
+ Experience working for a Tech company or professional services
