Project Coordinator – Cyber Security Consultancy
London / Hertfordshire based with home working available (occasional travel to client sites)
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 plus benefits
Reporting to: Head of Technical Assurance
The role of the Project Coordinator is to administer, plan, schedule and control the company’s professional services projects with primary focus on our penetration testing services. You will create projects and project plans, ensure efficient customer liaison and provide on-going support activities. The role is fast paced, varied and challenging, and would ideally suit an energetic and highly motivated self-starter with fantastic communication and organisation.
The Project Coordinator will:
+ Validate sales orders
+ Review new projects against set criteria to determine readiness to proceed
+ Set up projects in the company’s project management system
+ Initiate communication with clients
+ Plan, schedule and co-ordinate project delivery; set project delivery date and communicate to client
+ Occasionally contribute to project kick off meetings as required (only for larger projects)
+ Maintain and manage the company’s project system and resource planner
+ Ensure that all project requirements and necessary information are gathered ahead of project delivery
+ Liaise with Consultants and ensure client engagements are delivered in-line with the agreed delivery process
+ Schedule client project calls for the Consultancy team
+ Ensure periodic support meetings are diarised and planned
+ Ensure projects are being delivered to time and budget and are escalated where required
+ Ensure project close down activities are planned to complete project lifecycle care
+ Manage Consultants’ time sheets, expenses, holiday and attendance and update systems
+ Routinely use and update the CRM System ensuring up-to-date system information to offer accurate client contact details, resource forecasting and project utilisation reporting
+ Run system reports as required
+ Receive and respond to in-bound customer services and support enquiries
+ Closely liaise with the Technical Assurance Team
+ Identify, suggest and implement any approved process improvements
+ Provide information and support to the Head of Technical Assurance, other Project Coordinators and Finance to ensure smooth service delivery and timely project billing
Project Coordinator Skills and Experience:
+ Previous employment within the same or closely related role
+ Understanding / experience in the cyber security sector
+ Good administration, organisation and task management
+ Willingness to create and maintain accurate project records, systems and processes and follow working processes
+ Anticipate and avert problems
+ Accuracy and speed
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Good relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
+ Strong personal organisation
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, productivity and meeting deadlines
+ Ability to keep calm and keep a positive attitude under pressure
+ Flexible and quickly adapt to new situations
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of CRMs, ideally Salesforce
+ Professional and presentable
This role offers an attractive basic salary and benefits package of 25 days’ holiday, life assurance, 4% employer pension contribution if the employee contributes the minimum employee contribution of 5% of salary.
