The Project Manager Role:

The Project Manager will work closely with Engineering, Account Management and Product as part of the wider Delivery Team to deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously, working with a wide variety of disciplines throughout the development process.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery this role will suit an individual comfortable getting into the detail of a project and taking responsibility for the successful delivery of all project elements.

Strong leadership skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Leading the project team in planning what work needs to be done, when and who’s going to do it.
+ Identifying and managing risks.
+ Motivating the implementation team.
+ Coordinating work done by different people.
+ Running stand-ups.
+ Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
+ Prioritising and maintaining multiple complex projects within time, technical and resource constraints. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
+ Dealing with changes to projects
+ Creating, updating and maintaining the project administration within Jira
+ Preparing weekly reports and presenting project updates to the wider business and directly to external clients as necessary
+ Coordinate external client resources for the purposes of dependencies as well as UAT
+ Proactively identify and orchestrate prompt resolution of internal and external client issues.
+ Offer input to innovate processes, systems, organisation and culture.

About You:

+ A minimum of three years’ experience in an Agile project delivery/implementation role, ideally in a technology or software as a service environment.
+ You must be extremely comfortable with working in a fast paced, multi-project, deadline heavy environment with software-based solutions.
+ An ability to adapt processes to suit individual projects
+ Identify and monitor risks (threats and opportunities), planning and implementing responses to them and responding to other issues that affect projects.
+ An ability to develop effective relationships to gain/maintain a deep understanding of projects, external client activities and business priorities.
+ Experience in working with mobile app projects is desirable.
+ You must have a professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills. It is vital that you are a strong team player, motivated by organisational success.
+ Strong external client management skills.
+ Highly organised and detail orientated.
+ Capable of hands-on problem solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
+ A positive, determined approach to researching and analysing new methods and processes.
+ Takes ownership of personal actions and outcomes.
+ Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills in all forms.
+ Excellent organisational and time management skills.
+ A positive attitude to dealing with people and problems.
+ A strong sense of personal responsibility towards getting the job done.
