£45,000 Plus OTE £90,000 uncapped

Your Skills: Sales, Account Management, International Sales, Persuasive Negotiating, Excellent Communication and Relationship Building. Bi-Lingual European Language Skills. Electronics, IT or Telecoms sector experience.

The International Sales Account Manager Opportunity:

We’re looking for a talented International Sales Account Manager to ensure achievement of Company sales objectives, in markets to be defined by the MEG International Managing Director.
This role is home based with visits to our office in Basingstoke as and when needed, but most likely no more than a couple of times a month on average. There will also be international travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Increasing sales of our complete range of products in specified European and other overseas markets
+ Forecasting sales in the assigned regions and assisting in the preparation of sales budgets
+ Assisting Distributors to improve performance by providing sales, marketing, product information and advice as necessary, including help at exhibitions and special promotions
+ Researching, developing and recommending new Distributors in new markets
+ Organising demonstrations, installations and training
+ Receiving all orders from the countries concerned and ensuring that pricing, shipment and invoicing is in the correct manner
+ Ensuring that selling costs are always at a minimum and consistent with sales objectives
+ Monitoring customer requirements
+ Ensuring that all payment terms offered are in line with company policy and to assist, if requested, to follow up overdue accounts
About You:
+ A minimum of three years sales/account management in Electronics, IT, Telecom or associated verticals
+ Fluent in (business) English and one additional EU language
+ Experience in new business development in emerging markets
+ Have an international mindset and sales experience of international regions
+ Experience working from home/home office
+ An effective communicator, listener and relationship builder
+ Great presentation and organisational skills
+ Flexibility to travel abroad as and when necessary
+ Ideally you will have sales experience to East-EU and far east markets but this is not essential
