The eCom Analytics Analyst Opportunity:
You will work cross channel to process and connect data, generate insights and drive growth during an exciting phase of expansion. You will be a person that thrives in building and constantly improving systems, understanding business requirements, developing strategy, solving complex problems and building robust solutions for a dynamic, growing business.
You will need to develop a deep understanding of the objectives of the client businesses, and the goals of various teams. You will be working to maintain and improve our data visualisation tool, Looker Studio, in order to assist with accurate reporting and guide business decisions.
You will also work with other existing and new tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, Shopify and more to leverage data and insights, and connect the marketing dots. In addition to this, you will work with our in-house client marketing directors to improve our own proprietary technology including data and analytics dashboards to help our brands grow.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborating with the team and clients to understand their needs, and translating these into clear requirements for data analysis and reporting
+ Owning, building and maintaining the GBQ Data Warehouse to generate a portfolio of reports and analyses, allowing stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
+ Delivering ad-hoc project based initiatives to support business teams to make the most
of data
+ Automating repetitive reporting and analyses
+ Ensuring documentation is up to date and accessible to stakeholders
+ Identifying opportunities to leverage data to drive commercial value
+ Identifying, recommending and implementing data and analytic methodology improvement opportunities
What We Are Looking For:
+ Proven experience as a senior BI analyst or similar analytic role, with a focus on analysis, reporting and visualisation in Looker Studio or similar
+ Shopify experience
+ Highly proficient in GCP/GBQ, SQL, data modelling and ETL processes
+ Ideally experience with + Supermetrics + GitHub + DBT + Google Big Query
+ Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Ability to produce insightful and user-friendly reports in Looker Studio
+ Ability to apply design thinking principles in an agile environment
+ Growth mindset to effectively gather requirements from business stakeholders
+ Drive to make the organisation more data-driven
Nice to Haves:
+ A BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering or another quantitative field
+ Data science experience
+ A background in e-commerce and/or digital marketing
+ Experience with paid marketing feeds and Meta/Google products
