The Sales Consultant role:

As a Sales Consultant, you will be highly skilled at discovering customer needs and matching those with the right product. You might be someone who has previously worked in a similar role, as an automotive sales executive or retail executive, demonstrating your ability to deliver great customer experiences.

You’ll get a buzz from personal interaction, listening and adapting, and guiding the customer towards the best choice for them. You’ll be ready to apply your in-depth product knowledge to build the closest possible match between product and customer. As a Sales Consultant with Parks Inverness you’ll be proud to represent Toyota, and you’ll get great satisfaction from turning showroom visitors into loyal customers.

About you:

+ Previous work experience within retail, sales or a similar area
+ Good level of general education – at least National 5s in English and Maths and ideally Highers (or equivalent)
+ Good IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media skills
+ Interests that support your work life balance
+ A full UK driving licence
+ Eligibility to work in the UK
+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and take on infrequent travel for work and training purposes
+ This role requires you to be professional, have a smart personal appearance and have high standards of verbal and written communication
+ Previous experience within an automotive sales environment is a bonus!
