Excellent opportunity for a strong administrator ideally with experience of purchasing, supply chain and logistics to join a leading €1.4 billion IT and Technology services company. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous sales support & purchasing experience looking for more responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Access to own transport is essential due to our location. Some travel to other office locations may also be required.
£23,000 – £28,000
Plus Benefits Package
Full training and support will be given, including support towards the CIPS qualification.

9.00am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday. (37.5hrs per week).

The Sales & Purchasing Administrator Role:

The Purchasing Team are responsible for ensuring the ordering and delivery of supplies, materials and equipment within a quality-controlled environment. We are now recruiting for a Sales & Purchasing Coordinator to join our busy team. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, you will be responsible for requesting quotations from suppliers, validating orders, raising purchase orders, chasing outstanding orders, coordinating delivery and logistics with both internal and external agencies working closely with internal account managers, production scheduling and other administrative duties.

About You:

+ Strong administrative skills, preferably gained within a supply chain environment.
+ Previous purchasing/logistics and/or scheduling experience.
+ Analytical perspective of data.
+ Deal with issues in a timely and effective manner.
+ Proficient in MS packages including Word, Excel and Outlook with computer skills for browser-based applications.
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders through a variety of different mediums, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and methodically.
+ The ability to maintain and build relationships both internally (with colleagues in other departments) and externally (with suppliers).
+ The ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure.
+ Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
+ Ability to self-motivate and manage own workload.
+ Accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Proactive in approach with a flexible attitude.
+ Team player – understands the importance of collaborative working.

Qualifications: Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent). CIPS qualified preferred but not required.
