The Senior Account Manager Opportunity:
Due to recent strong growth within the business, we are looking for an organised Senior Account Manager to manage one of our account groups. You will get to know our client's business and create strong relationships, but also manage multiple projects at the same time to get them through the agency on time and on budget.
You will also be responsible for the development of at least one Account Manager and so team management and colleague support will also be a vital part of this opportunity.
What your typical day might look like:
+ Prioritising project deliveries to ensure client satisfaction and a smooth agency workflow
+ Carrying out planning in accordance with the needs of your clients, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks
+ Using Asana or other project management tools to deliver projects
+ Supporting the Account Managers in their project delivery and ensuring priority is given to the right project when the agency is busy
+ Managing the project, which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget
+ Carrying out monitoring and controlling activities to track the progress of the project
+ Identifying and managing risks to ensure delivery is on time
+ Reporting regularly to management and the client to ensure they always know the project status
+ Closing each project as needed including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project
What we’re looking for:
+ At least 5 years of work experience in the digital marketing and/or CRM space
+ Experience in negotiating project timelines and budgets, checking feasibility and calculating external and internal budgets, teams and resources
+ Experience in advertising, design or digital marketing agencies to understand the relationship between different departments
+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to develop strong relationships with existing and new clients
+ A team player attitude
+ A keen attention to detail on creative and code deliverables
+ Able to Understand creative processes and techniques
+ Willing to learn about the latest trends and develop ideas
+ Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
+ Strong interpersonal skills, to motivate and lead your project team
+ The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure
+ Use of HTML ESP and CRM tools a bonus but not essential
