Senior National Account Manager – FMCG
Bray, Co. Wicklow HQ / Field & Hybrid Working – Calling candidates from Dublin, Kildare & Wicklow
c€50,000 (negotiable) – OTE €60,000

Reporting to: Commercial Director
Hours: 5 days per week – 39 hour week

12 month fixed term contract leading to a permanent position within the company

Product / Service: Ireland’s largest retail supplier in the health food space in volume & value

The National Account Manager Role:

The company has a great wealth of experience in the FMCG sector and we are looking for someone who can bring their experience and fresh eyes to this industry.

At our core the principles of food production speak not only to quality and taste but also to environmental impact and the regeneration of our planet's resources.

You will be responsible for achievement of account retail targets. You will offer creative ideas to generate new business with a focus on product launches etc.

About You:

We're looking for someone ideally coming from the sales side of the FMCG sector with experience in branded and private label portfolios. You need to be street smart, negotiation minded and have an eye for detail across all aspects of the job.

You need to be self-motivated and driven by "the deal". Excellent people skills are essential and the ability to interact across a range of departments to get things done.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role within the industry or from perhaps the buying side of a retailer / food service operator. You could be a Sales Territory Manager or Senior Sales Representative in the field looking for the next step up, or perhaps a retail Store Manager looking to progress your career.

If you are a foodie and have an interest in "organics" that would be a bonus.

Key Skills & Experience:

+ Previous experience as a National Account Manager in food production or FMCG an advantage
+ Proven track record and experience in managing complex Retail Customers
+ Willing to adapt, offer flexibility and travel whenever required.
+ Ability to develop strong Customer relationships
+ Proactive approach and driven to find solutions
+ Good financial awareness and capability, strong understanding of profit drivers within the business
