The Service Manager role:

We are currently expanding our business and are now seeking a Service Manager to join the team, based at our Toyota Northampton branch. In this role, we will provide excellent training and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensuring all members of the Service team understand the implications of the Toyota Experience for their role and monitoring performance against agreed customer service targets
+ Leading the team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the skills and behaviours associated with the Toyota’s Brand Values
+ Ensuring that the Service team work closely with colleagues in Sales, Parts and Administration to deliver excellent customer service
+ Continuously reviewing and improving Service processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability and quality of workmanship
+ Working with colleagues across the dealership to investigate and resolve customer complaints Manages and develops individuals
+ Designing local promotions, negotiating with local suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and monitoring results accordingly
+ Managing the marketing activity of the Service team e.g. to ensure that contact is maintained with lapsed customers

About you:

+ Enjoys constantly meeting new people, building rapports and connections
+ Strong communication skills and enjoys presenting ideas to others
+ Previous management experience and wishes to build on this
+ Service department experience
+ Passionate about the automotive industry and want to work in the world’s biggest manufacturer
