We're on the lookout for a true sales professional with a strong desire to be successful and make a real difference. You will be self-motivated and have a positive outlook on sales.

Your job will be to grow our business through increasing market share, whilst carefully managing existing business. Pharmaceuticals is a focused growth area for Univar so you can expect to be responsible for managing key accounts, developing strategically important supplier portfolios and collaborating across Europe and the world.

What you’ll deliver day-to-day:

+ Achievement of agreed sales and margin budgets and delivering business reports as required
+ Growth in customer numbers and product penetration
+ Exceeding customer expectations
+ Compliance to all company procedures and legislative requirements
+ Promoting our value proposition to all customers as a platform for growth
+ Developing, managing and delivering a credible sales pipeline
+ Growing the diversity and depth of our relationships with customers across all key functions including purchasing, technical and quality departments.
+ Understanding and keeping abreast of industry and market trends.
+ Working with corporate sales teams as required

About You:

You should demonstrate a drive and passion for sales and customer development, while being naturally industrious and organised. It is essential you can work effectively and be able to prioritise and multi-task and, crucially, be prepared to take ownership and meaningful action.

As a true sales professional you will be positive and inquisitive by nature, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and sound commercial acumen. The need for strong business acumen and a proven sales or commercial track record are essential for this role.
