Due to continuing growth and new opportunities, we are looking for a Sales Administrator to join the Head of Sales and provide administrative support for the sales department.

We are looking for someone with a good administration background, friendly persona and a natural ability to organise and prioritise. If you like the sound of working for a fast-paced, ambitious online retailer – and are passionate about contributing to our success – apply now!

What your role will involve:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, your responsibilities will include:

+ Handling sales enquiries
+ Sales team support and administration
+ Maintain existing business and relationships
+ Process sales orders
+ Report weekly to line manager
+ General administrative support
+ Organise sales visits both existing and new
+ Demonstrate products and present brand
+ Manage sales team rotas

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

+ Good administration experience
+ Industry knowledge including brand and product knowledge (a good understanding of products BULK POWDERS® offer)
+ A good understanding of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
+ Working knowledge of SAGE would be preferable
+ Skills to work both independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work on their own initiative
+ A confident, determined and professional approach
+ High degree of self-motivation and ambition
+ Excellent attention to detail

Location: Colchester, Essex, CO4

Annual salary: £18,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, will be flexible where possible
