We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative Apprentice to join our team based from our head office in Wisborough Green, West Sussex. As a warehouse operative you will assist the warehouse and logistics manager in the smooth running of the warehouse function including maintaining and managing stock levels, organising dispatch of goods and delivery both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensure orders are picked and stored safely
+ Support with the organising of couriers
+ Support with inbound vehicles and checking deliveries
+ Accurate reporting during stock takes
+ Load distribution vehicles in a safe manner
+ Effectively communicate with key departments ensuring updates are delivered in a timely manner
+ Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times
+ Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
+ Support with adhoc tasks where necessary

Skills & Experience:

+ Proficient in the use of MS packages including Word, Excel and Outlook;
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to effectively articulate an opinion and engage with both internal and external stakeholders through a variety of different mediums;
+ Solid planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work;
+ A natural flair for delivering high levels of customer service;
+ Ability to carry out tasks to a high standard with a strong eye for attention to detail and thorough approach to their work;
+ Proactive and flexible with a “can do” attitude;
+ Team player – understands the importance of teamwork.

Location: Based from our Head Office in Wisborough Green, West Sussex

Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm / Monday to Friday. (37.5 hrs per week)
Salary: up to £20,000
