The Web Designer & Developer Role:
Reporting to the Lead Web Designer and Web Manager you will be working closely with the e-Commerce team to deliver high quality work that meets the brand guidelines.
You will be proactive and uphold a professional approach to time and commercial deadlines. You must have a high level of creative flair, a keen eye for detail, and up-to-date knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud to help produce compelling and exciting designs to increase conversion and customer engagement.
+ Create, retouch, manipulate and optimise product images and videos for the transactional website.
+ Design, optimise and code online banners, category pages and landing pages and other web design related tasks.
+ Ensure all creative content is delivered within the business deadlines. To design and develop from initial brief concept to final visual output.
+ Ability to take on creative direction and feedback.
+ Organise and manage the web assets, photo library and creative archive.
+ Assist in the design and coding of email campaigns.
+ 2+ years commercial web design experience or a degree in web design or related industry.
+ Proficient in Adobe CC especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro.
+ Proficient in HTML/CSS.
+ A good balance of creativity as well as a technical understanding.
+ Good attention to detail and a proactive nature – Mac skills would be an advantage.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to follow brand guidelines.
+ Hybris Content Management System (CMS) knowledge would be an advantage.
+ Knowledge of Google Analytics.
+ An excellent online portfolio is a must.
