In 2004 we opened our Helston site to look after south Cornwall. Since then we continued with our local Cornish family values of looking after all our customers old and new.

The Customer Service Apprentice Opportunity:

At Parklands we are proud to develop and invest in local talent. The apprenticeship programme is put together by our partner, Babington, and there will also be ongoing learning with Toyota throughout the process. This partnership ensures that your development opportunities meet the highest standards and are pertinent to your new career. This apprenticeship programme targets and develops high calibre people, who are seeking the first rung of the ladder in a career.

The Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship takes 15 months to complete and throughout that time you will be working with Parklands’ welcoming team, all of whom are dedicated to making your experience as good as it can be. Many of our team started with us as Apprentices, so there will be plenty of support and encouragement throughout your journey.

Your Journey:

Ultimately, we will be working towards making you an expert in everything to do with our Aftersales Department. At the end of the process, you will have knowledge of:

+ Service – Workshop schedule, capacity, and technical understanding
+ New and Used Parts – inventory, wait times, and cost
+ Customer Care – Ensuring customers choose Parklands again

About you:

+ Eligible to work in the UK
+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel
+ Candidates with full driving licences are preferred
+ Basic IT skills and GCSEs in English and Maths are essential (or equivalent)
+ Enjoy working with people and excel in a customer facing sales environment
+ Have strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to each customer’s needs
+ Be highly motivated to learn and gain professional experience
+ Be able to work well both within a close team and as an individual
+ Keen to meet personal targets and business aims
+ Be a free thinker with ambitions for yourself and the business
